Addiction
Addictions generally stem from a lack of fulfillment in a specific area of a person’s life. Oftentimes the substance being abused is completely unrelated to the area that is being neglected. This substance unconsciously seems to fill the void, at least temporarily. Unfortunately, however, the addiction often builds until the substance can no longer fully satiate the real need of the addicted person.
The first step in treating addiction is acceptance. Once you realize you have an addiction, you can take the steps to manage it and experience a full and healthy life free from dependence. Identifying the addictive triggers and areas in your life that lack fulfillment are key to identifying why the addiction has occurred and how to control it.
Because addictions begin at the unconscious level, hypnosis is an ideal method of identifying the real reasons for addiction and locating its triggers. Through hypnotherapy, you will learn constructive ways to fill the voids in your life and to manage both habitual and addictive behavior patterns in a positive way.
